2026 Kioloa Teachers Seminar

Designed for both experienced teachers and those wishing to start teaching, featuring participant’s presentations.

The course will commence 2pm on Thursday 8th January.

The program consists of presentations by the attending professional teachers, who are invited to share their expertise. This can be a more formal presentation or in the form of a led discussion on a particular topic. Also, panel discussions and other ways of sharing more informally.

Sessions on how to start a beginner at the harp are especially designed for young professional harpists starting out on their teaching journey. Hands-on trial lessons with feedback and discussion are very popular with the Kioloa locals, who are always very keen to be the guinea pigs!

The course will conclude with a special concert at 3pm Sunday 11th January, celebrating the life of Philippa McAuliffe, beloved Kioloa participant.

application forms and course costs will be available here by end April 2026
