Carlos Salzédo was a true musical renaissance man. As well as being a virtuoso harpist of the highest order, he was a fine pianist, a teacher of great renown, a composer, conductor and an important advocate in the dissemination of the contemporary music of his time. This disc features Alice Giles, acclaimed as one of the world's leading harp soloists.
